“We were not meant for your world. That does not mean we will abandon it.”
— Seraph
Seraph is the name used by !Larakaylarlilaka!, an alien warrior displaced from the parallel dimension known as Terra Ultima. A survivor of a destroyed world, she arrived on Earth-11717 alongside the remnants of the Alpha Legion, bringing with her abilities and perspectives shaped by a reality that no longer exists.
Background
[edit]!Larakaylarlilaka! was born into a civilization on Terra Ultima that combined advanced science with an intrinsic mastery over matter itself. Her people possessed the ability to transmute elements at will, a capacity that influenced every aspect of their culture, from construction to warfare. Within that context, she trained as a warrior, developing both the discipline and adaptability required to operate in environments where the boundaries between matter and energy were fluid.
The destruction of Terra Ultima was sudden and total. During the final stages of that catastrophe, Seraph and her teammates in the Alpha Legion were caught in a dimensional rupture that displaced them across realities, depositing them on Earth-11717. Their arrival marked not only their survival, but the end of their world as a living entity.
They did not escape.
They were displaced.
The Alpha Legion
[edit]On Earth-11717, Seraph continued to operate as part of the Alpha Legion, a group of similarly displaced heroes attempting to adapt to a fundamentally different reality. Their presence initially brought them into conflict with local forces, including Earth’s established heroes, before alliances were formed.
Within the Legion, Seraph functions as a frontline combatant and tactical asset, her abilities providing both offensive and environmental control in engagements where conventional physics offers no protection.
Powers
[edit]Seraph’s abilities reflect the natural capabilities of her species.
- Elemental transmutation, allowing matter to be altered into other substances
- Projection of directed energy for offensive and defensive purposes
- Flight, including operation in vacuum environments
- High resistance to extreme conditions
Her control over matter allows her to reshape the battlefield itself.
Skills
[edit]Seraph is a trained warrior accustomed to operating under unstable and rapidly changing conditions.
- Advanced combat training adapted to variable environments
- Tactical awareness in both individual and team engagements
- Familiarity with non-linear physical systems
She fights as someone accustomed to change at the most fundamental level.
Personality
[edit]Seraph carries the weight of displacement with a controlled intensity. The loss of her world is not something she expresses openly, but it informs her actions, particularly her refusal to allow preventable destruction to occur again. She approaches her new reality with a mixture of observation and commitment, choosing to act rather than remain detached.
Her sense of purpose has survived the loss of its original context.
Reputation
[edit]Among those who have encountered the Alpha Legion, Seraph is regarded as one of its most formidable members, both for her raw capability and for her ability to alter engagements in unpredictable ways. Her presence signals a level of escalation that few adversaries are prepared to counter.
To allies, she is a powerful asset.
To enemies, she is a variable they cannot control.
Legacy
[edit]Seraph represents the persistence of identity beyond the destruction of origin. As a survivor of Terra Ultima, she embodies both the loss of an entire civilization and the continuation of its capabilities within a new context. Her actions on Earth-11717 ensure that her world is not entirely gone, but transformed into something that continues to act and influence.
