Mantra is the warrior identity of Elysianne Fields, a mystic martial artist and member of the Sisterhood of the White Flame. Like her sister Manna, she was trained in the Sisterhood’s ancient disciplines, mastering the command of chi in battle against demonic and alien threats.

Background

Elysianne Fields was drawn into the same hidden war that shaped her sister Heaven Lee Fields, the warrior known as Manna. Within the Sisterhood of the White Flame, Elysianne was trained to discipline body, mind, and spirit into a single weapon. Her training focused not only on physical combat, but on the controlled use of life force for perception, movement, and psychic communication.

The Sisterhood’s central mission brought Mantra into conflict with the alien evil of D’Harque and its servants, placing her among those warriors who confront threats most of the world never sees clearly.

Sierra Force

After Manna was killed by Azrael, Mantra temporarily joined Sierra Force. Her time with the team was shaped by grief, duty, and the need to continue the fight in her sister’s absence. Though not a permanent member, she proved an effective ally, especially when the team faced supernatural or extradimensional threats.

Manna’s later resurrection changed the personal stakes of Mantra’s mission, but did not lessen her commitment to the Sisterhood.
