Wartime Legends

[edit]

The Victory Squadron became legendary not only for battlefield victories, but for its ability to confront threats conventional military forces could not handle. Nazi occult programs, advanced super-science weapons, hidden infiltrators, and supernatural horrors all fell within the team’s scope of operations.

Many of their greatest missions remained classified for decades after the war.

The Squadron also helped establish the public image of the superhero as a patriotic defender and global champion during the Golden Age.

Legacy

[edit]

Long after World War II ended, the Victory Squadron remained one of the most respected names in superhero history. Later generations of heroes regarded the team as pioneers who proved superheroes could change the course of world events.

Their influence can still be seen throughout the modern superhero community, particularly in organizations such as Watchstar and the Unity League.

To many historians, the Victory Squadron represents the purest expression of Golden Age heroism: courage, optimism, sacrifice, and unwavering determination in the face of evil.
