Stormbringer

A world of dying empires, cruel gods, and bargains best left unmade.

The Young Kingdoms stand in the long shadow of Melniboné. Once that island ruled the world. Now it dreams, and in its dreaming the world trembles.

What This Is

Stormbringer is a swords-and-sorcery setting of doomed heroes, demon-bound sorcery, fading civilizations, and fatal bargains, for the Barbarians of Lemuria ruleset. Its greatest tales are not about saving the world, but surviving it—if survival can even be called a victory.

Core Themes

  • Decadence and decline
  • Sorcery as bargain and corruption
  • Fate, doom, and the cost of power
  • Civilization poised on the brink
