In the year 3000, the Age of Galactic Peace has been shattered by the conquest of Earth by the Saurials. Under alien occupation, Earth has become the center of a new tyranny, and the ideals of justice that once shaped the galaxy have been driven underground.
From the ruins of the old order, a new Watchstar has arisen.
Watchstar 3000 is a resistance team of freedom fighters dedicated to overthrowing the Saurial occupation, freeing Earth, and restoring hope to a troubled galaxy. Inspired by ancient records of the original Watchstar, the team carries forward a heroic legacy nearly one thousand years old.

Protector
Colonel Carter Smith was a commander in the Terraforce who discovered ancient computer records left by his distant ancestor, Jason Smith. Inspired by those records, he formed a new Watchstar almost a thousand years after the original team. His modern battle armor, bioware implants, and Terraforce training grant him superhuman capabilities.
Ventura
Sabina Maki was a famous zero-g dancer and a distant descendant of John Mackey, the original Viceroy. Her human bloodline has been altered by Karnak-enhanced DNA, giving her superhuman strength, speed, and flight. After the Saurials hunted down her family, she joined the resistance.
Vox
Valentine-567 O'Xian was an exploratory cyborg designed for work in high-radiation zones. When the Saurials plunged her orbital habitat into the sun, killing thousands of cyborgs, she reprogrammed herself for revenge. Her cyberware includes sensor webs, integral weaponry, and computer control systems.
Warlock
Ao Durgan is a shapeshifter and psychic whose people were enslaved by the Saurials for millennia. His powers and hatred of Saurial rule make him one of the resistance’s most unpredictable assets.
Basalt
Baas Ult was once a slave in the Saurial gladiator pits. After leading a successful slave uprising, he escaped and joined Watchstar 3000. Seemingly impervious to harm and phenomenally strong, Basalt’s power comes from his people’s gravity-controlling biology.
Legacy
[edit]Watchstar 3000 is not merely a resistance cell. It is the rebirth of an ancient heroic ideal in a galaxy that had nearly forgotten what heroes were for.
To the Saurials, they are rebels and terrorists.
To occupied Earth, they are the first sign that freedom may yet return.
